Lay Institute for Biblical Counseling is a series of four training classes to equip lay persons to provide biblical advising to individuals and families under the authority and leadership of the pastor in their local church. Class One: Foundational Biblical Concepts Necessary for a Healthy Lifestyle. Class Two: The Character and Skills of the Biblical Counselor. Class Three: Marriage and Family. Class Four: Growing Through Trauma Issues to Health.
Class one is based around a Biblical Counseling text titled “Be Transformed” and is expanded through additional lectures about foundational Biblical Counseling concepts.
